About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Ultrafit Manufacturing. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment
    • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
    • Prepare and post notices and advertisements
    • Collect and screen applicants
    • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
    • Review candidate inventories
    • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
    • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions
    • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
    • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Human Resources Administration
    • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
    • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
    • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process
    • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
    • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans
    • Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll and other summaries
    • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
    • or equivalent experience
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 30 to 35 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel. Public transportation is available.
