Job Title: Educational Assistant

Horizon School Division is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Assistant to join our team at Winston High School.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide academic, developmental, and social support to students with academic and behavioral issues. This is a permanent part-time position (0.50 FTE) that requires a strong ability to work effectively with students, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the role of the Educational Assistant as outlined in the Role Description
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement student support plans
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with academic and behavioral issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the current CUPE #4799 Agreement. The hours of work will be equivalent to 3 hours and 5 minutes per day, arranged by the principal.
