About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Radium. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, customer service, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
    • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
