About the Role

Enerflex is seeking a highly skilled Process Mechanical Engineer to lead process engineering projects in a high-energy manufacturing environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and packaged manufacturing of gas processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead process engineering projects from design to commissioning, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with our fabrication department to bring projects to life in our facility, responsible for all aspects of project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including team members, supervisors, and external partners.
  • Utilize sound problem-solving and decision-making skills to drive project success.
  • Participate in HAZOP and SIL review meetings to ensure project safety and compliance.
  • Specify instrumentation, including sizing PSV's and control valves, to ensure optimal project outcomes.
  • Size vessels and piping based on process information, ensuring constructability and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Background in a modular packaging manufacturing environment.
  • Aptitude for assembly and fabrication.
  • Engineering Degree.
  • Process experience in deep cut/cryogenic plants is a significant asset.
  • Experience in packaging condensate stabilizers, amine units, refrigeration units, etc.
  • Proficiency in sizing pumps, heat exchangers, air coolers, and compressors required.
  • Experience in pressure vessel and piping design is required.
  • Experience in sizing pressure relief valves and control valves is required.
  • Knowledge in Hysys process simulation software will be considered an asset.
