Floral Merchandising Specialist
Join our vibrant team at Brand Momentum, where we specialize in enhancing the presentation of flowers and plants in retail environments.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Floral Merchandising Specialist to manage the floral section at a designated retail location. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, with a commitment of approximately 3-4 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute merchandising tasks at the assigned retail location.
- Oversee the floral section, ensuring it is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Address any inventory shortages promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in the display area, including dusting and organizing.
- Water and care for plants and flowers regularly.
- Complete and submit daily visit and call reports.
- Establish a positive rapport with the store management.
- Remove any dead foliage or unsalable products.
- Document the display with photographs for quality assurance.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously. Previous experience in merchandising is advantageous but not mandatory. A smartphone and internet access are required for this role.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and ideally reside within a reasonable distance from the retail location.
