Job Title: Wine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Wine Specialist to join our team at Otter Co-op. As a Wine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our customers on wine and spirits products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and engage with customers to build relationships and drive sales growth
  • Develop and implement educational programs and events to promote wine and spirits products
  • Collaborate with the Buying Team to select and purchase wine and spirits products that meet our customers' needs
  • Work closely with Store Managers to ensure that merchandising standards are maintained and all programs are implemented, measured, and managed
  • Perform regular store duties including stocking, ordering, and guest service
Requirements:
  • WSET 3 Certification or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the liquor industry
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Effective planning, organization, and time management skills
