Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Coffee Lodge Inc. as a key member of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Work Environment

Our cafeteria is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to meet the demands of our customers. You will be required to walk and stand for extended periods, with a physically demanding workload.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
