About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Animal Health Specialist to join our Toxicology team in Canada. As an Animal Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our laboratory animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze biological samples (blood, urine, etc.)
- Conduct data collection (body weight, food consumption, clinical signs, etc.)
- Administer injections (subcutaneous, intramuscular, etc.)
- Ensure animal room cleanliness and maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure study success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Health, Bioecology, or a related Animal Science discipline
- Good observation skills and attention to detail
- Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
- Understanding of written English is mandatory; bilingualism in French and English is preferred
