Position OverviewThe Technical Services team is seeking a dynamic individual who values teamwork to fill the role of Production Engineering Specialist. This position involves:
- Collaborative Product Design: Engaging with various functions to propose solutions that enhance product manufacturing.
- Support for Initial Units: Actively participating in the realization of initial units by supporting key manufacturing functions.
- Functional Requirements: Determining functional requirements and drafting technical documentation for train car assembly.
- Research and Development: Conducting various studies and analyses to develop manufacturing methods, products, and new markets in collaboration with internal and external experts.
- Action Plans: Developing action plans aimed at improving the productivity of existing equipment and/or integrating new technologies into our manufacturing processes.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in French and a good command of English.
- Technical skills with a solid understanding of fundamental theories, principles, and concepts related to manufacturing and mechanical assembly.
- Basic knowledge of welding is an asset.
- Familiarity with the Office suite.
- Experience with CATIA software is a plus.
