Job Summary

As a CNC Machinist at Safran Cabin, you will be responsible for operating numerical-control cutting machines to prepare and machine parts with precision and accuracy. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines of Milling and 3 Axis Router to machine parts with precision and accuracy.
  • Read and follow setup instructions and specifications to ensure accurate machine operation.
  • Load control media containing programmed commands into the control console of the machine or enter commands to retrieve programmed control data.
  • Monitor the operating of the machine to ensure proper program performance and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Verify the accuracy of the parts using calipers, micrometers, and other metrology equipment.
  • Maintain the machine and area around the machine in a clean and neat condition.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Degree or diploma from technical/vocational school in CNC machining is strongly desired and most preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in CNC machining.
  • Familiarity of the basic operation of CNC machines of Milling and 3 Axis Router and the understanding of G and M code is preferred or the ability to learn is mandatory.
