The role involves delivering acute care nutrition services, with potential responsibilities extending to long-term care and outpatient dietary needs.
Key Responsibilities include:- Utilizing clinical expertise to provide nutrition services such as assessment, planning, intervention, counseling, and educational programs.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams and serving as a resource for health professionals and communities within Interior Health.
- Contributing to the formulation of nutrition practice guidelines, engaging in research, and participating in quality improvement initiatives for the facility and program.
- Working alongside food service personnel on patient care matters and menu planning.
