Job Title: Truck Drivers Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team at DM Transport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of our truck drivers, ensuring they are aware of their schedules, routes, and delivery deadlines.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare production and other reports to track the performance of our truck drivers and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide Technical Advice: Provide technical advice and guidance to our truck drivers to help them resolve work-related problems and improve their productivity.
  • Train and Develop: Train and develop our truck drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and Operate: Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panels to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods.
  • Coordinate and Schedule: Coordinate and schedule activities with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Recommend Personnel Actions: Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions or disciplinary actions, to ensure fair and consistent treatment of our employees.
  • Requisition and Order: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support the operations of our truck drivers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
