About the Position

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Senior Heavy Duty Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring they are returned to service in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems with minimal support
  • Instruct and advise other technicians on maintenance and repair procedures
  • Coach and mentor junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals
  • Perform facility maintenance duties and utilize key functions of our Shop Management System
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with federal, provincial, and corporate compliance guidelines

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in performing advanced mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to demonstrate proficiency with advanced diagnostics and repair of all vehicle components and systems
  • Valid Driver's License (Class G2 or above) and 310T license required
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas communicated, and to create and maintain professional relationships within the organization
