Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Irving Shipbuilding. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring materials and services to support the construction of River Class Destroyers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals
