About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team at Royal Autodetailing Inc. as a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Payroll and Accounts Payable: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare various financial and accounting reports, including trial balance, balance sheet, and income statement.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and balance general ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
Personal Qualities
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial transactions and records.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.

Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
