About the Role

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Food Processing Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food processing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing, conduct tests and analysis using other physical and chemical separation techniques, and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Record Keeping and Analysis: Compile records for analytical studies, interpret experimental or analytical results, and develop and carry out health, safety, and fire prevention plans.
  • Sampling and Analysis: Develop and conduct programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards, collect and analyze data and samples, and compile operational or experimental data.
  • Training and Development: Conduct safety training programs, develop manufacturing and processing procedures, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: College/CEGEP degree and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), MS Office, MS Excel, and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certificate.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and physically demanding work.
