Raylec Power LP, a leading electrical contractor, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Assistant to join our team in Nanaimo, BC.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist in designing and developing traffic management plans, collaborate with project teams to incorporate project-specific requirements, and ensure all traffic control measures meet regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and developing traffic management plans using Invarion Rapid Plan software.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Advisor and project teams to incorporate project-specific requirements into traffic management designs.
  • Ensure all traffic control measures meet regulations and safety standards.
  • Plan and coordinate the deployment of traffic control subcontractors.
  • Provide on-site guidance and coaching to workers on traffic control requirements.
  • Maintain organized records of traffic management plans and permit-related documents.
  • Assist in preparing reports on the status of traffic control permits and project timelines.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Basic knowledge of traffic management regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collectively as a team.
