We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Interior Health Authority:
- Assumes a leadership role in prioritizing tasks, providing expert clinical guidance for care plans, implementing health treatments, and delegating responsibilities to other healthcare team members when needed.
- Ensures active involvement of clients/families in care plan development, setting goals, and making necessary adjustments.
- Builds a therapeutic rapport using effective communication and interviewing techniques, respecting client decisions and involving them in care planning.
- Coordinates referrals with clients/families and healthcare team, facilitating appropriate referrals to health/community agencies.
- Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, participating in patient care conferences to ensure consistent and comprehensive care delivery.
Shifts may include both day and night schedules, rotating between 08:00 to 16:00 and 09:00 to 14:00.
