About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Partner Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. as a key member of our Partner Solutions team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the enablement of a select set of strategic Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partners in Canada, driving their growth and transformation on the AWS platform.
  • Own the technical strategy and execution plan for how these partners will conduct their business practices, ensuring alignment with AWS's goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with the technical leadership of these partners, influencing their growth, transformation, and technology practices on the AWS platform.
  • Collaborate with critical stakeholders within the select partners to strengthen and transform their lines of business and practices to be cloud-centric, creating go-to-market offerings that drive success in the market.
  • Participate as a speaker in industry and partner events to deliver thought leadership on AWS, showcasing the company's expertise and vision.
  • Influence the AWS service roadmap by serving as the voice of the partner with AWS service teams, ensuring that partner needs are represented and addressed.
  • Participate in the operation cadence of technical business reviews (MBR, QBR) with select partners, driving alignment and progress towards shared goals.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), including Generative AI.
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
