Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at 1041956 BC LTD. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load buspans and trays, and place dishes in storage areas.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders, and package take-out food.
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and portion and wrap foods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, ability to multitask, and work term: permanent.
Work Conditions

Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with physically demanding tasks and repetitive duties.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Hours of Work

35 to 40 hours per week.
