Position Overview

What is the role?

As a vital member of our team, you will assist RBC Dominion Securities Investment Advisors and RBC PH&N Investment Counsel Investment Counsellors in providing comprehensive insurance solutions to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the efficient processing of new business, ensuring that our clients receive prompt and effective service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all underwriting requirements, including order placement and follow-up
  • Generate quotes for a variety of insurance products
  • Organize meetings and prepare necessary documentation, including calendar management
  • Build and maintain relationships with life company wholesalers, case coordinators, and underwriters to streamline business operations
  • Deliver outstanding client service to enhance customer satisfaction

Qualifications for Success

Essential Skills

  • At least 5 years of experience in an insurance agency or a similar role within the industry
  • Possession of a Life Insurance license
  • In-depth knowledge of Life and Living Benefits insurance products
  • Exceptional client service abilities
  • Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines and prioritizing tasks; capable of working independently
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required to effectively serve our diverse clientele

Preferred Qualifications

  • A post-secondary degree is considered an asset
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients
