Seasonal Labourer, Fertilizer Handling Specialist

Position Summary
The Seasonal Labourer will be accountable for operating dry fertilizer process equipment, front-end loaders, forklifts, and completing miscellaneous manual labour tasks. This position will be based out of our Fort Saskatchewan plant site.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete mobile equipment pre-use check sheets and update shift summary reports.
- Review and adhere to safe work procedures and the Company Safety Policy.
- Complete on-going regulatory and compliance training requirements.
- Perform manual labour job tasks, including clean-up of mobile equipment and process systems.
- Safely and efficiently load fertilizer trucks and railcars.
- Safely and efficiently operate mobile equipment; front-end loaders, forklift, and 1⁄2 tonne truck.
- High School Diploma.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Safety-orientated mindset.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working with a front-end loader and forklift.
