Seasonal Labourer, Fertilizer Handling Specialist

Position Summary
The Seasonal Labourer will be accountable for operating dry fertilizer process equipment, front-end loaders, forklifts, and completing miscellaneous manual labour tasks. This position will be from September 3, 2024 to November 8, 2024, and will be based out of our Fort Saskatchewan plant site.
Accountabilities
- Completion of mobile equipment pre-use check sheets and update shift summary reports.
- Review and adhere to safe work procedures and the Company Safety Policy.
- Completion of on-going regulatory and compliance training requirements.
- Perform manual labour job tasks, including clean-up of mobile equipment and process systems.
- Safe and efficient loading of fertilizer trucks and railcars.
- Safe and efficient operation of mobile equipment; front-end loaders, forklift, and 1⁄2 tonne truck.
- High School Diploma.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Safety-orientated mindset.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working with a front-end loader and forklift.
