About This Position

As a Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in maintaining the visibility of our brands in grocery stores and retail locations.

The ideal candidate must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable access to a vehicle for work-related tasks. A personal cellular device or tablet is also required for communication during work hours.

Territory: Sydney and surrounding areas

Work Schedule: 16 to 24 hours per week, with availability required on Wednesdays and Fridays. Hours may vary based on workload, and adjustments can be made to accommodate specific needs.

Compensation: $18.33 per hour plus mileage and device premiums

This entry-level role in our sales department offers an exciting pathway for personal and professional growth, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restock and maintain product displays, shelves, and coolers by transporting products from the backroom to the sales floor using manual or powered equipment.
  • Construct, modify, or dismantle product displays in accordance with company standards; ensure product signage is visible; clean product areas and manage damaged or defective items.
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding backroom operations, display maintenance, product replenishment, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
  • Organize backroom inventory by monitoring stock levels, processing damaged goods, repacking products, and maintaining cleanliness and order.
  • Foster professional relationships with colleagues and customers to enhance service delivery.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift, carry, and position products weighing up to 50 lbs (22 kg) above shoulder height.
    • Frequent kneeling, squatting, and reaching overhead.
    • Capability to push and pull equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand-truck) with product loads for distances of at least 100 yards.
    • Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods.
Qualifications
  • Minimum age of 17 years.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in grocery, retail, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is preferred.
  • Must possess a personal vehicle for work-related travel.
  • Current vehicle liability insurance is required.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
