Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Cashier (Part-Time) to join our team in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service at the checkout counters.
  • Accurately process customer transactions using electronic cash registers and self-checkouts.
  • Replenish merchandise around the checkout area to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and guidelines.
  • Follow loss prevention best practices and ensure compliance with all policies when selling tobacco and lottery products.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule:

A typical part-time schedule will include a mix of days, evenings, and weekends, up to 24 hours per week.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, bending, twisting, and squatting. You will also be required to lift and move up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and perform tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.

Keyholder Premium:

As a keyholder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, ensuring all areas are tidy, and securing the store at the end of the shift.
