We have an opening for a Personal Insurance Advisor to become a part of our Personal Insurance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address ongoing client needs, provide insurance advice, conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions, respond to inquiries, conduct follow-up calls, and manage renewals
  • Sell new policies and develop business with both existing and new clients while retaining the current book of business
  • Generate quotes for new business through outbound calls, introductory letters, and walk-in clients
  • Collaborate with underwriters and adjusters to clarify guidelines and policies
  • Prepare documentation for insurers, complete client applications, issue insurance certificates, process changes, and review renewals
  • Stay updated on underwriting regulations and workflow processes
  • Actively engage in training programs
  • Participate in community marketing initiatives

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma and/or Post-Secondary education
  • Minimum of two years of sales experience (insurance sales experience preferred but not mandatory)
  • Level 1 General license is preferred
  • Familiarity with Epic is an asset
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check
