Poppa G's Quality Meats is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Processing Labourer to join our team in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment environment.
Key Responsibilities- Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials safely and efficiently.
- Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, ensuring accurate quantities and quality control.
- Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) protocols.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train on the job.
- Physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal suitability: Reliability and strong work ethic.
The work site environment is cold/refrigerated and wet/damp, requiring the ability to work in a variety of conditions.
Language and Work Term- Work Language: English.
- Work Term: Temporary.
- Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week.
