Saputo Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor, Taxation to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's tax compliance and strategy.

About the Role

As a Senior Advisor, Taxation, you will be responsible for participating in Canadian tax compliance activities and Canadian tax provisions. You will also contribute to various projects in Canadian and international taxation, working closely with our experienced global team of tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze tax provisions for Canadian entities
  • Monitor tax continuity tables by legal entity
  • Prepare and review Canadian tax returns (T2, T5013) and underlying forms
  • Support tax audits and prepare/review analyzes required for government audits
  • Contribute to other tax projects, including reorganization and internal tax structure, fundraising activities, and research and analysis of tax memos

Requirements

  • CPA Canada in-depth tax course completed or in the process of being completed, or master's degree in taxation
  • CPA Certification
  • 5-6 years of tax experience in an accounting firm or a combination of experience in an accounting firm and a multinational company
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Taxprep
  • Bilingualism (proficiency in written and spoken French and English)
