About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient kitchen.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all food preparation and presentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
