The Role: Interim Chief of Service - Cancerology, Hematology, Oncology

Reporting to the Clinical-Administrative Coordinator in Gatineau, the Interim Chief of Service will lead a team within a dynamic and evolving healthcare environment. This leadership role demands strategic vision, operational expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement aligned with ministerial guidelines.

The successful candidate will oversee the planning, organization, implementation, direction, control, and evaluation of service offerings within Cancerology, Hematology, Oncology, PQDCS, and IPO. This includes supervising, supporting, and motivating staff while ensuring efficient management of human, financial, material, and informational resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the assigned service areas.
  • Collaborate with medical leadership to ensure seamless co-management of services.
  • Monitor performance indicators and implement strategies to enhance quality and safety standards.
  • Manage budgets effectively and allocate resources strategically.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration or Management
  • Two years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in team management is an asset
