As an integral part of our organization, you will assume the role of Estimator, directly reporting to the Production Manager. Your primary duty will be to evaluate expenses and generate estimates that facilitate the construction of new residential properties, ensuring sound financial decisions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conducting project take-offs and verifying job files for precision while pinpointing cost-reduction possibilities.
  • Fostering relationships with suppliers and trades. Assessing quotes and remaining informed on current pricing.
  • Drafting purchase orders and guaranteeing alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborating with diverse teams on project modifications and contributing as necessary.
  • Overseeing the product catalogue and coordinating with the Design Center for product revisions.
  • Working alongside the Production Administrator on developing specification files for construction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of a degree or diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of estimating experience within the construction sector, preferably in residential projects.
  • Completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications and estimating software is essential.
