Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care by assessing, screening, prescribing, and providing therapeutic care as necessary.
  • Uphold exceptional clinical customer service through prompt and empathetic care.
  • Provide clinical care for patients with erectile dysfunction, including shockwave therapy.
Requirements
  • Current certificate of registration with the College of Registered Nurses New Brunswick as a nurse practitioner in good standing.
  • Master of Science (Nursing) or a Masters in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Ability to conduct clients' interviews and examinations, develop and implement client-centered treatment plans, while integrating evidence-based health promotion practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of the interdisciplinary team and to function within a collaborative practice model.
  • Effective leadership capabilities, including teaching, mentoring, and supporting shared care models.
  • Additional professional liability coverage is required; additional relevant professional memberships are an asset.
  • Experience/confidence in working independently, with high degree of self-direction and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) including conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to use information technology (e.g. Microsoft Office and electronic medical records).
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
