Key Responsibilities- Staffing Planning: Collaborate with management to identify current and prospective staffing requirements, ensuring a seamless workflow and optimal resource allocation.
- Talent Sourcing: Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract top talent, leveraging various channels to reach a diverse pool of candidates.
- Candidate Management: Collect and screen applicants, advising them on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, while maintaining a fair and transparent selection process.
- Interview Coordination: Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Recruitment and Hiring: Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions, as well as coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
- Onboarding and Training: Notify applicants of results, prepare job offers, and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- HR Support: Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes, and coordinate termination of employment processes, while determining eligibility to entitlements and arranging staff training.
- Supervision and Development: Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties, and recruit and hire staff to support the growth and development of the organization.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week
