Staffing Coordinator Job Description

Diligent HR Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our human resources department, you will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, and providing information or services to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Provide information or services, such as employee assistance and counselling, to support the well-being of our employees.
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the requirements of the role.
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to fill our staffing needs.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to ensure our employees have the skills they need to succeed.
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
  • Recruit and hire staff to fill our staffing needs.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, electronic mail, database software, MS Excel, and MS Word.
