Mehgan Search and Rescue (MSAR) is seeking a skilled Animal Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for handling and caring for domestic animals, including dogs of all breeds.
Responsibilities- Assist in the regular exercise and care of animals, including walking and providing a safe and healthy environment.
- Work in a rural area, assisting in search and rescue operations and police dog/canine services.
- Collaborate with our team to provide top-notch animal care and support.
- Participate in dog training, including protection work and training animals to assist persons with disabilities.
- Ensure the security and safety of our animals and team members, including conducting criminal record checks and vulnerable sector checks.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in animal care or a related field.
- Valid passport.
- Ability to work 35 to 50 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
