Job Title: Bricklayer

Cruz Masonry Ltd. is seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build walls, chimneys, and other structures.
  • Estimate materials and tools required for projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete tasks.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build chimneys, fireplaces, and other structures.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in masonry work.
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required.
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling required.
Personal Suitability:
  • Accurate and reliable.
  • Client-focused and efficient in interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
Language:

English.

Work Schedule:

35-44 hours per week.
