Senior User Experience Designer – Bankwest

12 Month Max Term/ Secondment

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide UX design leadership and inform key strategic decisions
  • Facilitate research activities to validate hypotheses and uncover customer needs
  • Create intuitive designs for complex problems and rapidly iterate through customer testing of interactive prototypes
  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines, including content writers, business analysts, and product owners
  • Present design rationale to the wider team and stakeholders, advocating for user experience design in the broader organisation

About the Role

The Customer, Marketing and Communication (CMC) division is responsible for attracting and retaining customers through experiences that are simple, useful, and informed by strategy and insight.

The Digital Content and Experience Team, which sits within the CMC division, champions experience across all digital channels and platforms.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will drive exceptional digital experiences by facilitating research, validating designs, and ensuring the wider Experience Design team is supported across the end-to-end UX process.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Advanced UX and UI design skills with experience in mobile apps and/or web
  • Strong knowledge of customer-centred design principles and usability testing methods
  • Prior experience leading other UX designers and influencing stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams
  • A risk mindset
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery framework
