Chef Responsibilities
  • Maintain comprehensive records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other relevant data.
  • Demonstrate innovative cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff.
  • Supervise the activities of specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen personnel.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty dishes for events.
  • Oversee the work of cooks and kitchen staff.
  • Regularly prepare and cook food for guests and special functions.
  • Requisition necessary food and kitchen supplies.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities across multiple restaurants.
  • Design menus ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.

This position involves supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.
