Job Title: Manager, Stewardship and Planned Giving

At the YMCA of Greater Toronto, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Stewardship and Planned Giving to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our members and the community.

About the Role:

The Manager, Stewardship and Planned Giving will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive stewardship and planned giving strategy to attract and retain donors. This will involve building relationships with donors, creating and executing fundraising campaigns, and ensuring that all stewardship and planned giving efforts are aligned with the YMCA's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a stewardship and planned giving strategy that aligns with the YMCA's mission and goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, including major donors, planned giving donors, and stewardship donors
  • Create and execute fundraising campaigns to attract and retain donors
  • Ensure that all stewardship and planned giving efforts are aligned with the YMCA's mission and goals
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure that all fundraising efforts are coordinated and effective
  • Provide regular reports to the development team and senior leadership on stewardship and planned giving efforts
Requirements:
  • University degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in stewardship and planned giving, preferably in a non-profit organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
