Job Title: Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at Scotiabank. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code that meets the needs of our customers.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the code.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in software development with Java 8+.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
  • Experience with JSON/RESTful, XML, and SOAP Services.
  • Experience with database development skills with Oracle, AzureSQL, Sybase, or MSSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux.
  • Experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
