Clinical Manager

About the Role
The Clinical Manager will lead our clinical supervisors and front line staff in delivering high-quality patient care and services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to clinical supervisors on their role in overseeing care delivery and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate care and service delivery performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Participate in the interviewing, orientation, and performance management of clinical supervisors, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Develop and maintain the on-call schedule for clinical supervisors, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing disruptions to patient care.
- Respond to clinical concerns and issues from staff, contractors, funders, clients, and families, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Oversee Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities related to care and service, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
Requirements
- Registration/licensing in good standing as a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse.
- Minimum of three years in a formal nursing leadership role, with a proven track record of success.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing Registered Nurse in a community setting, with a strong understanding of community resources and services.
- Superior oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Effective skills in critical thinking and problem-solving, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
- Flexibility in hours worked, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Knowledge of applicable community resources and services, with the ability to connect patients and families with relevant support.
- Current certification of First Aid and CPR.
