Your Impact
The RPN Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the quality of care and performance of Good Shepherd staff within the Assisted Living Program at designated locations.
This role includes overseeing daily operations at the site, which encompasses scheduling Personal Support Worker (PSW) services, managing the quality of care for residents, handling inventory and supply management, coordinating housekeeping services, and ensuring meal preparation and delivery are executed efficiently.
We adopt a holistic approach to care, emphasizing the importance of delivering high-quality services that respect personhood, dignity, independence, and self-direction. We also provide opportunities for residents and their families to engage in religious, cultural, and spiritual practices.
- Guarantee the delivery of exceptional care and services
- Collaborate effectively within the care team and across various sites
- Provide care in a manner that is centered around the individual, taking into account their personal and cultural preferences
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program and registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current CPR certification
- Relevant clinical experience with adults and individuals with chronic health conditions, including physical and cognitive care needs
- Strong clinical assessment abilities and familiarity with evidence-based practices
- Prior experience in hospital, long-term care, or community-based nursing services
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Resourceful problem-solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong time management, and attention to detail
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule and participate in on-call duties
- Supervisory experience, including scheduling, attendance, and performance management
- A supportive and rewarding work environment with opportunities for growth and learning

- Fluency in a language other than English is an asset
