Position Overview: As a Legal Operations Assistant specializing in litigation, you will oversee the daily functions of a civil litigation practice, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, edit, and finalize essential correspondence and legal documentation.
2. Assist in the completion of various litigation documents for Civil, Divisional, and Court of Appeal, including but not limited to: motion records, pleadings, notices, affidavits, and bills of costs.
3. Manage daily administrative tasks and facilitate meeting arrangements and calendar management.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of three to five years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a litigation environment.
• Successful completion of a recognized post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program.
• Strong understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite of Applications.
