We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our culinary team at Guac Mexi Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized at all times.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that all team members are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong organizational skills.
