Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Execution System Engineer/Integrator to join our team at AGS Automotive Systems. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and supporting all facets of the J2 Manufacturing Execution System environment using the Ujigami solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement leading-edge solutions for manufacturing and warehouse processes
  • Work with J2 sites to understand their needs and resolve manufacturing challenges
  • Design, develop, and implement new program features using the Ujigami framework and tool sets
  • Lead and complete code change testing and new software functionality
  • Investigate and resolve software, hardware, and manufacturing problems reported during project implementation
Requirements
  • Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Solid leadership, organizational, and technical skills
  • Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Results-oriented with a goal of perfection
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to educate and mentor others
  • Solid analytical and software development skills in PHP, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and CSS
  • Thorough understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems and warehouse operations
Additional Assets
  • Working knowledge of PLC ladder logic
  • Working knowledge of Ethernet and internet networking protocols
  • Direct experience in manufacturing industry and/or warehouse operations
  • Previous knowledge of Ujigami or other plant floor manufacturing software
