Douglas College is looking for enthusiastic individuals to become part of the team as International Student Support Assistants. In this role, you will be instrumental in aiding prospective and newly arrived international students as they adapt to life in Canada, British Columbia, and the Douglas College environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to new international students by offering essential information, resources, and opportunities for social engagement.
- Contribute to the creation of content for social media and perform various administrative tasks.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating meetings, workshops, and social events.
Qualifications:
- Genuine interest in working within an international context.
- Familiarity with the social customs of diverse cultures.
- Experience in administrative roles.
- Competence in using video conferencing tools.
- Understanding of social media platforms for promotional purposes.
