About the Role:The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for providing first-line supervision, coordinating day-to-day operations, and ensuring compliance with Health Canada requirements. You will work closely with our healthcare team to coordinate client flow, develop protocols for improving client flow, and provide clinical direction and coordination of clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure staffing levels match client care needs by scheduling and coordinating staff, equipment, and resources.
- Evaluate the provision of direct care to clients and their families, ensuring compliance with established standards, policies, and protocols.
- Provide direct health care services to designated clients, including physical assessments, collecting specimens, and administering prescribed treatments and medications.
- Coordinate and participate in quality improvement and risk management activities, including evaluating the effect of changes in client care practice and generating recommendations for alternative approaches.
- Registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
- Three years' recent, related nursing experience in Community Health Nursing, including one year's related leadership/supervisory experience.
- Completion of the Point of Care HIV Testing course and successful completion of the BCCDC Immunization certificate.
- CRNBC Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Management certification, or evidence of enrollment.
