Job Summary

M & P Plumbing & Heating Ltd is seeking a skilled Plumbing System Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems, water supply networks, and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and drainage systems. Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Pipe Fitting and Testing: Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Project Management: Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment. Estimate costs and materials. Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
  • Environmental Considerations: This role involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes, making it a great fit for those interested in green jobs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the plumbing industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
