Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at OZEN KOREAN RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Work under the supervision of a senior cook or chef to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Korean cuisine and cooking techniques
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to provide excellent customer service and high-quality food. You will be required to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Language

The primary language of communication in our restaurant is English.

Work Schedule

Our restaurant operates 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule of 5 days a week.
