Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

Berry Homes Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Residential Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction of residential projects from start to finish. This includes supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, recruiting and hiring workers, training, estimating costs and materials, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 workers, including trades helpers and labourers
  • Coordinate and schedule construction activities to meet project deadlines
  • Recruit and hire qualified workers to join the team
  • Train and develop the skills of team members
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Recommend personnel actions to management
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Requisition materials and supplies
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in residential construction
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Work Environment:

The Residential Construction Supervisor will work outdoors on construction sites, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions.

Work Setting:

The Residential Construction Supervisor will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on residential building projects.
